Pin It Fancy

Perfumer:  Francis Deléamont & Jean-Pierre Béthouart
Description:  Since 1858, four generations of the Boucheron family have allied their history to that of French High Jewelry. From the period at the Palais-Royal, Frédéric Boucheron set the fashion-engraved diamonds, inlaid gold on steel, and was showered with first prizes from international exhibitions. Always a fore-runner, he was the first to set up business on the Place Vendôme in 1893, which was to become the world center for jewelry.

His son Louis took over from him in 1903 and was chosen by the Shah of Iran to appraise and value the Imperial Jewels - security for the Iranian currency - known as the "Treasure of the Thousand and One Nights". In 1930, he was appointed by decree the Guardian and Keeper of the Jewels, which is still held by Boucheron today.

From 1932, Louis Boucheron worked closely with his sons, Fred and Gérard. Gérard's son, Alain, took up the torch of his family line in 1980. Over 150 years later, and four generations of jewelers, the house of Boucheron continues it's grand tradition of excellency in both jewelery and fragrance.

Launched in 1988, Boucheron is the first perfume for the house and is received with great pleasure by those who enjoy the elegance of this classic semi-oriental floral.
